APPLICATION FORM FOR X FEST (Stroud)

Time: Marketplace: 11.00 – 16.00


Marketplace

The market will be open to the public from 12 – 5pm. There are 4 unloading spaces at the front of

the venue which we can use on a staggered arrival time for you to unload and then promptly move

your vehicle to a nearby car park. We are hoping to negotiate the use of the hospital staff car park

for use on the day both for unloading and to leave vehicles there for the duration of the event (TBC

nearer the time). There will be marshals in the venue to indicate where your trading space is.

This is an Adult only event. The event will be monitored to ensure no under 18s have access at any

time.

The marketplace is followed by an after show in the main hall which runs from 7- 9.30pm. Therefore,

traders will have from 5 – 6.30 to pack up, remove goods and load vehicles allowing us time to set up

the hall alongside break down. There will be reduced-price tickets offered to traders to purchase in

advance if they wish to stay for the show.

We are interested in talking to vendors about running workshops/demos in a separate room

throughout the day. This is an ideal way to boost footfall to your pitch as visitors will be interested

to find out more or purchase items relevant to the demo. There is no charge for this. Workshops &

demo opportunities get snapped up quickly, so please get your application in and note if you wish

to offer this.

  Confirmation, cancellation and payment terms

All applications will be considered and if your application is approved you will be offered a space to

trade. Upon being offered a space, I will email a link to make payment and this will need to be

made within 7 days of the offer, or the space cannot be guaranteed. There will not be a reminder

for payment, or any extension granted, it is up to you to make a timely payment for space to trade.

When payment is received you will receive automatic confirmation and your pitch is guaranteed.

If the organiser cancels the market a full refund is given minus £10 admin costs to cover advertising

for the event.

If, for whatever reason, you are unable to attend:

More than 28 days notice – you may transfer your fee to another suitable market or event.

Less than 28 days notice – no transfer is offered and fee is forfeited.

Fees are non-refundable.

Your pitch is booked for your business and is non-transferrable; if you are unable to run your pitch

and have a replacement vendor in mind, this will need to be agreed with us and we reserve the right

to refuse if this results in too much duplication.


The types of traders we would like.

This is an 18+ event, but not specifically a fetish market, so we are interested in traders who offer

a variety of goods/services across the ‘alternative’ AND adult sector.

 Bondage items and novelties, kink/fetish wear, furniture, erotica, naughty toiletries, slogan

clothing, art.

 Psychic readers (tarot, astrology, aura reading, palmistry etc).

 Therapies (Indian Head, seated massage, reflexology, crystal healing etc).

 Witchy/new age, all things gothic, all things steampunk, tattoo themed, body jewellery,

handmade oddities, horror, adult literature & imagery … anything else you wouldn’t want

your average 10-year-old looking at ��.


Spaces Available:

Single trading space of 6’ x 3’.

Double trading space of 12’ x 3’

Chairs are provided.

There is limited power access available, please indicate on the form if you require access to power

(not guaranteed). You should bring your own PAT tested extension cable as this may be required.

The venue is fully accessible with disabled toilets and the market is ground floor only.
