Terms and Conditions

Timings

The event runs timely from 11.00 – 16.00. Access to set up is from 9.00am. Unloading options will be given nearer the time but be prepared that it may not be possible to unload at the front of the venue as it is on the High Street.

Please be set up and ready by 10.55am.


ESSENTIAL: Please do NOT pack up before 4pm as it is disruptive to other vendors and the public.


Promotion

The event will be marketed extensively using social media, online newspapers, flyers, posters and flags/banners etc.

The organiser will be promoting the fair across their social media platforms and email database as well as erecting a banner at or near the entrance of the venue.

Please also promote your attendance at this market across social media and by any other method available.

This way we can promote maximum footfall to benefit all.

 

Payment and cancellation

 

·        Full payment of £50 is due within 7 days of your application being accepted. No reminders are issued.

·        If the organiser (Emerge Events) cancels the event a full refund is given.

·        If the exhibiting business cancels, provided more than 42 days notice is given the vendor can transfer the fee to another event within 12 months. No refunds are given.

·        If the event has to be cancelled due to a red weather warning or covid reasons, every attempt will be made to re-run the event at a later stage, but this depends on venue availability.

·        If a suitable date cannot be booked within 8 weeks of the original event or if a supplier cannot attend the new date, then a 50% refund is available.

 

 Table/space

Please note tables are very limited at this venue. If you request a table you will be notified if you have been allocated 1. You will need to provide your own cover. You may prefer space equivalent if you have your own display unit/couch etc.

We will do our best to accommodate requests, but it may not always be possible, so please bear in mind you may not have a power supply or a certain position within the market. Spaces are allocated by the organiser whose decision is final.

Psychic readers (tarot, astrology, aura reading, palmistry etc), preloved/reworked/handmade alternative/gothic/vintage clothing shoes and accessories, therapies (Indian Head, seated massage, reflexology, crystal healing etc), witchy/new age, all things gothic, all things steampunk, tattoo themed, piercing/body jewellery, music (actual music or merch/related items), body products, art, handmade oddities, taxidermy, literature, handmade homewares, adult content (handmade bondage items and novelties, handmade kink/fetish wear, erotica, naughty toiletries, slogan clothing, literature, art) or anything else which is unique and non-standard.
